Guitar Chords and Scales
The following illustrates guitar chords and scales, particularly the
relationship between fundamental bar chord forms and pentatonic scale
patterns. Both major and minor chords and scales are considered. The
chords and scales are illustrated on a guitar fingerboard, shown as
they will appear to the guitarist when the guitar is being played. Thus
the strings appear to be "upside down", since this is how they appear
to the guitarist.
